Caree Empowerment Chats 2025
We held our 2025 Career Empowerment Chats at F.F. Ribeiro Primary School! The grade 7 learners embarked on a 4-week insightful and empowering journey, guided by our incredible guest speakers. They heard from a football analyst, explored the technical field of software engineering, and ventured into the exciting world of entertainment and media, along with other interesting career paths.
We sincerely thank all our guest speakers for their invaluable contributions. By generously sharing your time and insights, you have opened up a world of possibilities for our learners. Embracing the belief that just one caring adult can profoundly impact a child’s future, you have truly made a difference.
Annual Clothing Drive
We held our second annual clothing drive on May 3, 2025. This year, we donated gently used clothing to SOS Children’s Village in Mamelodi, Tshwane.
SOS Children’s Village Mamelodi offers alternative care for 80 orphaned and abandoned children across 15 family houses. Additionally, their Family Strengthening Programme has positively impacted over 250 children.
It was truly heartwarming to support this incredible organisation that is making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children in Mamelodi and surrounding areas. We are excited about this partnership and eagerly anticipate contributing further to the lives of the SOS kids.

Golf Godz Charity Golf Day 2025
Golf Godz hosted their 4th annual Charity Golf Day on the 14th of March, and generously selected the Florence & Fabian Ribeiro Foundation as the sole beneficiary for 2025.
R45 000 was raised on behalf of our Organisation.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Golf Godz for their support, along with all the golfers, sponsors, and guests whose participation will aid our cause. The funds raised will contribute to our sports and physical education programme for the vulnerable learners of F.F. Ribeiro Primary School in Mamelodi, Tshwane. Fundraising Jumble Sale
We hosted a Jumble Sale on May 5, 2024. This fundraising event drew in numerous community members enthusiastic about purchasing gently-used clothing, with prices starting at just R5. It was a wonderful chance for the community to come together in support of F.F. Ribeiro Primary School, their local primary school. The funds raised were used to upgrade the school’s sickbay, which was in poor condition. Now, learners will have a safe, clean, and comfortable space to recover.
