Dr. Ribeiro, the daughter of Florence and Fabian, is a distinguished medical doctor and dedicated leader in healthcare management. She spent 13 years as the Medical Manager at Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria. Her leadership role includes serving as the acting CEO of Mamelodi Day Hospital from 2007 to 2008, and as the acting CEO of Tembisa Hospital from 2013 to 2014. Beyond the hospital, Dr. Ribeiro was one of the longest-serving members of the University of Pretoria Council. Her expertise and insights have continued to shape the health and education sectors, recently contributing as a member of the Council at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, participating in various subcommittees.
