PROFESSOR NTHABISENG OGUDE

Professor Nthabiseng Audrey Ogude is an analytical chemist and science educator. Currently serving as Professor and Dean at the Mamelodi Campus of the University of Pretoria, she earned her PhD in Chemistry Education from The University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
Her illustrious career has seen her in senior management roles, including Vice-President of the Pan African University and Vice-Chancellor at Tshwane University of Technology. Additionally, she has served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Teaching, Learning, and Student Affairs at the University of Pretoria, as well as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic (Research and Teaching & Learning) at the former University of Port Elizabeth. Notably, she was the first Black woman to ascend to these pivotal leadership positions.
