As part of The Florence & Fabian Ribeiro Foundation’s annual career guidance programme, Career Compass, professionals from an array of industries will be speaking to Grade 7 learners over the next 4 weeks.

Following our school-wide vision screenings for over 700 students, The Florence & Fabian Ribeiro Foundation and African Eye Institute Trust returned this week to hand over prescritpion glasses to 49 students and 6 staff members.

On the 29th of June we celebrated the incredible life and legacy of Dr Fabian Defu Ribeiro, affectionately known as “The People’s Dr”.

In partnership with the African Eye Institute Trust (an NGO dedicated to reducing avoidable vision impairment in underserved communities) we kicked off an impactful two-day eye screening initiative at F.F. Ribeiro Primary School in Mamelodi.

The Florence & Fabian Ribeiro Foundation is deeply moved when our mission resonates far beyond our local boarders.
