As part of our Eyes on the Future Initiative, we partnered with Kids Vision SA to provide free eye screenings to 100 disadvantaged students on September, 25th 2025.

What an empowering month it has been for the Grade 7 students at F.F. Ribeiro Primary School! Our learners embarked on an insightful, enjoyable, and uplifting journey, guided by our incredible guest speakers. They were thrilled to hear from a football analyst, explored the technical realm of software engineering, and ventured into the exciting world of entertainment and media.

Besilindile Ribeiro-Sibanda and Nonkululeko Applegreen were invited to speak at Winter Jam 2025, a winter school programme hosted by The Mamelodi Initiative and held at the University of Pretoria’s Mamelodi Campus.
